You cannot expect the mass of people very intelligent. That is not possible. So what is the value of their votes if they are not intelligent?

			But in the Western countries this is the disease, vox populi. Socrates said there is soul, and he was killed because vox populi was against. Christ was killed because vox populi was against. This is the defect of the Western civilization. During the lifetime of Christ, nobody accepted. When he was killed, or crucified, then the other saintly persons, they gave their experience, what they learned from Jesus Christ.

			Now, sastra says that avicyutah arthah. Arthah means purpose... Avicyuta, infallible purpose. What is that infallible purpose? Avicyutah arthah kavibhir nirupitah. Nirupita means it is already settled. You haven't got to make research anymore. Nirupita means it is already concluded. What is that? Yad-uttamasloka-gunanuvarnanam [SB 1.5.22]. Каждый организм имеет уникальную гуну (конституцию), определяющую его «здоровое» место в концептуальном пространстве. Болезнь — это доша - смещение от этого места.

Сушрута Самхита сравнивает Вату (воздух/движение), Питту (огонь/трансформация) и Капху (вода/структура) с воздухом, солнцем и луной соответственно . Точно так же, как эти силы управляют вселенной, три доши управляют метаболизмом тела.

Чарака утверждает, что коренной причиной загрязнения природных элементов (воздуха, воды и т.д.) является адхарма (неправедность). На индивидуальном уровне это называется Праджнапарадхам (преступление против мудрости или «бездумное действие»), которое нарушает равновесие дош и приводит к болезням.

К концу третьего месяца у него появляются ногти, пальцы на руках и ногах, волосяной покров, кости и кожа, а также половые органы и другие отверстия в теле: глаза, ноздри, уши, рот и анус. Через четыре месяца с момента зачатия окончательно формируются семь основных компонентов тела (дха̄тавах̣ сапта): лимфа, кровь, плоть, жир, кости, костный мозг и семя. К концу пятого месяца живое существо начинает ощущать голод и жажду, а по прошествии шести месяцев зародыш, покрытый водной оболочкой (амнионом), перемещается в правую сторону живота матери. Через семь месяцев со дня зачатия ребенок, который к тому времени уже обладает сознанием, начинает чувствовать на себе давление потоков воздуха, которые действуют на него в последние недели перед родами. Под давлением этих потоков он извивается, как черви, родившиеся из той же грязной утробы.

So the more people become non–Krsna conscious, materially conscious, the more there will be restriction of foodstuff. In the Srimad-Bhagavatam, in the Twelfth Canto, it is stated that the end of Kali-yuga there will be no grain supply. Wheat, rice and milk and sugar will not be available. Now it is available still, because still people are little Krsna conscious. For them only. But gradually, the things will deteriorate so much so that almost all supplies will be stopped.
