	В двадцатом веке ученые Земли пытаются своими методами определить дату возникновения и грядущего уничтожения вселенной. Но что знают эти ученые? Даже Брахма и тот однажды впал в заблуждение, решив, что он – единственный Брахма, избранник Господа. Позднее по милости Господа он узнал о том, что существует великое множество куда более могущественных Брахм, которые правят другими вселенными, во много раз превосходящими эту по размерам, и что все эти вселенные вместе составляют капад-вибхути – всего лишь одну четвертую часть проявления созидательной энергии Господа. Остальные три четверти Его энергии приходятся на духовный мир. Так что же может знать об Абсолютной Личности Бога ничтожный ученый с его ничтожным умом? (ШБ 2.6.37 к.). (5 уровней познания абсолюта) БГ 13.5 к. В «Тайттирия-упанишад» (2.5) сказано: брахма пуччхам̇ пратишт̣ха̄. Энергия Верховного Господа проявляется сначала как анна-майя, зависимость живого существа от пищи. Это сугубо материалистическая концепция Всевышнего. Далее следует прана-майя: осознав Высшую Абсолютную Истину как пищу, живое существо затем постигает Ее в признаках жизни, то есть в разных ее проявлениях. На уровне гьяна-майи живое существо не только осознаёт различные проявления жизни, но и начинает мыслить, чувствовать и желать. Затем оно постигает Брахман (вигьяна-майю), то есть перестает отождествлять себя с умом и признаками жизни в теле. Следующей, высшей, ступенью самопознания является ананда-майя — осознание живым существом исполненной блаженства природы Брахмана.
