Quotes from Srila Prabhupada

(проповедь на всю жизнь)  Letter, 13 Dec 1973. We must stay together and vigorously preach the Krsna consciousness philosophy to the world. That is the real spirit of Lord Caitanya’s movement. Do not fall victim to this sentimental idea of peaceful life in seclusion. That is not our dharma.6.

(проповедь - величайшее служение)  Letter, 29 Nov 1970. This is the greatest service that you are all rendering in the matter of spreading Krsna consciousness, and Krsna and Caitanya Mahaprabhu will certainly bless you all, my sincere students, more and more in Krsna consciousness.12  Cc 2.7.148, purport. If one wants to be recognized as a devotee by Krsna, he should take to preaching work, following the advice of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Then one will undoubtedly attain the lotus feet of Sri Krsna Caitanya, Lord Krsna Himself, without delay.18

(проводь - служение уттама-адхикари) Lecture, 4 Sep 1972. What is the symptom of love? The symptom, the prime symptom, most important symptom of love, is that the devotee wants to see his Lord’s name, fame, etc. become widespread. He wants to see that “My Lord’s name be known everywhere.” This is love. If I love somebody, I want to see that his glories are spread all over the world.23 Bg 15.10, purport. Those who are highly developed in Krsna consciousness try their best to give this knowledge to the people in general.18  Lecture, 26 Mar 1976. This is the mission of high-class Vaisnavas, to preach Krsna consciousness among the suffering humanity.19

(вовлечение в служение)  Letter, 13 Dec 1972. The secret will be to engage them as they like to be engaged. Suppose I have got some education, I am a business student, or I have got some skill or talent, I am a typist or musician or something like that; so I will like to utilize these things for Krsna only if I am encouraged in a certain way, very tactfully, and I must not be discouraged by forcing me to accept everything at first: shaving the head, rising very early, going for street sankirtana, like that. No, let me come gradually; let me also study Krsna consciousness and see how it is practical and sublime. Gradually I may get some taste for these other things and agree to do them voluntarily and intelligently. We are not dogmatic or like an army camp, no. We are servants of Krsna. That means because we understand that Krsna is our protector under all circumstances, we have no more any anxiety, so we become very liberal and tolerant upon seeing others’ sinful activities, and we see them as innocent victims of maya, and we try to help them understand the real position of life.11
